Fuck this!!! I hate how SHE spinned it off as if they just decided it was time to move on!!! She FIRED John for NO FUCKING REASON!!! No wonder Rocky quit! Amy is letting fame get to her head! She’s turning into a selfish little BITCH!
Now Evanescence is AMY and a few guys who have signed contracts saying that they have no free speech in relation to the band.

By the way, I am a MASSIVE Evanescence fan, but you can’t deny the facts! I looked up to Amy! She stood for the right things. But Evanescence is NOT Evanescence without John and Rocky!
Incase you didn’t notice, Amy Lee is now the ONLY original member of Evanescence left! Tells you something, doesn’t it?
She hasn’t always been like this. She’s gonna bring in two more new guys to stand in a place where great musicians did. Terry doesn’t say much, nor does Tim.
I think Amy will be the one doing all the talking now…she has a LOT to answer for.

tbh i wouldn’t be surprised if that was written for her. and plus theres probably legal crap going on meaning that she can’t say much, i mean if rocky can’t say anything, then she probably can’t either. she’s just trying to look on the positive. i wouldn’t condemm anyone until theres more info cos at the the moment we have very little to go on.

I really hate this whole thing but I know John has a serious attidtude problem. If you read and watch enough interviews you would all pick up on it. I love John and Rocky but I know Amy is not a bitch. She obviously had a reason for doing what she did. She has the bands best interest even though it may not fill that way to us. I agree with the previous comment. Amy probably can’t say anything so she had to put out that nice spin. Everyone needs to stop jumping to assumptions. Amy is EV and EV is Amy whether you like it or not. John and Rocky were not original members, they were hired for the Fallen tour, even though we have all grown to love them as part of the band. John had his head way into machina and not EV where it should have been.

This whole thing does suck but I can’t help but think Amy had a good reason for doing what she did. I love John and Rocky. They were my favorites behind Amy but everyone realize Amy is the driving force behind EV not John or Rocky and her firing John was something she must have viewed as necessary for the future of the band. We don’t have to like it but don’t abondened EV because of it. Amy is what makes EV what they are. I agree with the last comment, John was always wearing Machina t-shirts in concert. It’s great to have a side project but not one you put more energy into then the band your suppose to be in. John needs to grow up because saying Amy isn’t deep out of spite is pretty fu*ked up. You can’t write the kind of music she does without having a great amount of depth.

its illegal to fire some without a valid reason, so there must be one. something must’ve happened between them but its unfair to point blame at one particular person when we don’t have all the facts.
btw, not long ago john had such high praises for amy and her lyrics, not he’s calling her shallow….????

I loved John and Rocky but god knows that there had to have been a damn good reason for Amy to do what she did. This doesn’t change anything and if you all don’t realize that then you don’t realize that EV is Amy’s band. John was content to laugh his ass off in an interview a few months ago when they were talking about Ben not being in the band but now that he is on the other side he is acting like a fucking cry baby. People don’t get fired for no REASON!!!!!!!!!! This is a buisness grow up and realize that John was becoming a detriment not an asset. Amy their are thoose of us who will always stand by you!

Just to let you know,i stand up for Amy,she did something good probably.Who knows maybe John was doing something that he wasn’t suppose to.Besides him and Rocky were stuck in the fantasy world with Machina not Evanescence! Screw this. All you bad mouthing Amy, look at the facts. Who was the one always starting a band on the side? First Mourningside then Machina. F*ck Machina John! I thought you were suppose to be in EV. You all know if Machina got signed to a record deal John and Rocky would have jumped ship. John and Rocky were F*cking awesome but i’m on Amy’s side on this one. In John’s comment he took absolutely no responsibility for any role he might have played. Everything is Amy’s fault. F*ck that, that’s how a child deals with problems. He said there’s no loyalty in this band, what a hypocrite! John you were the one not being loyal! You and Rocky were the ones in another band. I don’t know why this happened and frankly I don’t give a crap! Amy is still my goddess and after John’s comments I no longer have any respect for him. If you all can’t see him for the hypocrite he is then you need to get a clue!

Honestly, i don’t know what to think about Amy any more. In a lot of interveiws she says that everyone calls her a bitch and i thought “nah, Ben quit for his own reasons, and all ex boyfriends (Shaun Morgan) might call their girlfriends bitches”. But now she’s fired john for no reason, Well there may be one. So i am torn between condeming her along with everyone else, or waiting to see whats up. It’s tough when you idol seems to have an extreme flaw.
But evanescence for their music. If only it could stay that simple – Good music = good band.
But we always get mixed up in more than just the music.

I’ve met both Amy and John on this tour and I can guarantee you Amy is as sweet and awesome in person as she comes acrossed on t.v. “AND IT”S NOT AN ACT.” However I can’t say the same for John. Amy was awesome to us fans. John stood there with his arms folded acting like it was a big fucking inconvience meeting with Ev fans, i’ve had a dislike for him ever since. What a fucking dissapointment. Maybe it was his attitude that got him into this mess, I don’t know I just know my expierence. So to all you who are ragging on Amy I can guarantee you after meeting both of them John isn’t the innocent one he’s trying to portrait himself as! I can’t believe that some of you call yourself fans! Congrats on the marriage Amy, much love from your real fans! I can’t believe someone who loves Ev could actually call Amy a bitch, your FUCKING COLD! THERE WOULDN’T BE AN EV FOR YOU TO LOVE WITHOUT AMY!!!!!!!!

John & Rocky were great musicians but deep down, if they are not with the band it is because they want it that way. I know Amy has been through alot of crap through the years to keep her band alive, and her priorities are exactly were they should be: Keeping Evanescence alive. And IT IS HER BAND. The original members are Amy and Ben. So saying she is the only original band member left is stupid cuz its been like that since Ben left.
I wish the best for Ben and Rocky…and I adored those guys, but things happen for a reason. And I hope it all works out best for everyone.

Hey, I know for a fact, that being in the industry, isn’t al what it seems to be. They have to take on alot of crap. Yes it is true, without AMY, there is NO Ev!! No matter what has been going on, I will Always, love honor, support, RESPECT, have all the faith, and ALWAYS stand by AMYY LEE, and Ev!!! She has always protected and fought for the band!! There is absolutely NO word, that can EVER describe the phenominal talent she truly has!! You rock AMY LEE, and will ALWAYS be # 1!!!!!

speaking of loyalty, wheres the loyalty from fans? i thought you’re supposed to love this band (why else would you be here? or why else would you care?) its none of our business and i’d think very few of us would fully understand the music business. none of us know anything, so ease up on the amy bashing cos theres no evidence to suggest she’s egotistical or whatever. btw, john took down his little rant of his myspace and replaced it with one which was a little more amicable. don’t believe me, look on evthreads. people just need to calm down and act like adults.

also i would like to add that i agree with trina that without amy there is no evanescence. no one can say this is not true because amy has been working on evanescence since she was 14, or at least thats what she said, which i do not take her as the type of person to lie. so forget about the others. if they can’t even stay for amy, then they’re not worthy of being in a band.
