As you may have heard, former Evanescence members Ben, Rocky and John have a new band called “The Fallen” (don’t even get me started on that name) and it seems that the press are a little confused about the whole thing. To clear up some things, Amy wrote the following message on Evthreads.com:
There’s some pretty weird stuff flying around right now and I’d like to clear up some confusion in the press. As our fans already know, Ben Moody left Evanescence in 2003. Evanescence came out with a follow-up to Fallen in 2006. It was called The Open Door and it debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts and reached platinum status in just over a month. The Open Door has sold more than 5 million copies worldwide. We’re currently working on new material that I’m extremely excited about. I believe that to make great music you have to give yourself the freedom to evolve. I don’t see the point in making the same record twice, so I always want to challenge myself to make something better, stronger, and more interesting than before. That takes time, but it’s worth the wait for me. Hopefully, it will be for the fans too. Look out for new music next year…

I love Evanescence, and i bought the last album .. but just coz i’m an Ev fan .. really guys, it’s nothing like Fallen ..
again .. I hope they give us a better surprise this time .

I also thought amy’s solo record was coming out sometime this year, but another evanescence record will be awsome 2. And about the new band, its pretty rediculous how they got a amy lookalike etc.

I love Amy Lee. The way she carries herself beautifully and I look up to her has inspiration for when I personally write and do art but when it comes to the whole We Are The Fallen by Ben Moody’s making, I honestly don’t think they meant conciously to pick a girl that has that sort of dark front as Amy Lee but it deffinatly peaks peoples interests to speculate. Personally, she sings well but I don’t hear Amy Lee. Amy has a sort of softer sound compared to this frontwoman but in my ears I hear a Lacuna Coil sound but then again, now a days everyone sounds the same. -_-

The Ben Moody band is absolutely ridiculous and a totally “in your face” to Amy. I find it desperate and immature that they could come up with their own sound and had to make a copy of what they “used” to be apart of. Life is about change and evolving. Obviously they don’t have the talent or capability to grow as Amy Lee is doing. I find it rude, distasteful and a complete insult to Amy. “We Are The Fallen” will NEVER have the success that they did with Amy nor the talent. The new girl will never be Amy and will ALWAYS live in her shadow. You can’t replace Amy but you sure as hell can replace the band. Yes a band has to have chemistry but they also need to have the same vision. But an artist like Amy, a songwriter, a visionary, can only be replace with a puppet to imitate her and dress like her but can’t imitate her talent!!!!!!!!!!!

is an imitation of amy. but he knows that means? amy in your vocation that is very talented!!!!! If not , not mimic. nothing beats the original. amy like your there will be no other. my god !!!!! as your character …. no other , please amy happy you are special small gnome. I a nobody I say. have plenty of charm. people 60 to 70 years they saw videos of evanescence so casual in my ipod teach old and said:
that pretty girl , seems to speak to their movements and some praised the sounds of his music , clarification was little study of old people , taught in more than one occasion that old people surprised me with acceptance. imtan you if you exceed your imitation; I promise that as a dog (sarcastic joke)

Well I’ll agree with Stephanie too!That’s the worst and silliest thing they could ever do!Well I think that they are trying to ‘’steal” Amy’s fans and they’re copying her ideas to be successfull beuause they just don’t know what’s that means!I mean that all of them are loosers!But Amy is THE ONLY ONE for her fans and I’m sure that ”The Fallen”won’t succeed so much as the REALL FALLEN did!!!

I am a big evanescence fan, but I disagree, I don’t think
( we are ) the fallen is trying to steal evanescence’s fan they have a right to be a just like evanescence has a right to be a band. And I know has been through alot with switching bandmates and Terry being in the hospital but I think both bands are gone to go far with their careers and both bands will go a long way.

I can’t believe that Ben Moody said in an interview that We Are The Fallen album would be a real follow-up to Fallen, if I wanted another Fallen album I would have gone in the record store and bough the same record again. Musicians are considered bad when they are trying to sound the same in each and every record. And don’t even get me started on the cheesy lyrics they wrote on the Bury Me Alive song – like darkness, death, sorrow…I mean come on….

Hi nice post. I conceive these leads might be useful overly. Now the pleasant pick up arguments are the ones that flatter the woman. Straight Off roughly of the lines might just be in all good fun to help discover the ice. That is rattling and it can ultimately lead to landing up in make love with her at the end of the night. Heck what man doesn’t want that, but familiar what to pronounce and how to pull it off can take on a bit of practice. A good pick up draw will have you in the door but from there you have to be convinced decent to maintain the conversation working.
