Evanescence has selected Paul Fedor (Deftones, Alice In Chains, Adema) to direct “Lithium”, the second video from the band’s “The Open Door” album. More information will be made available soon.

Evanescence’s latest album, “The Open Door”, sold 447,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to land at the top of The Billboard 200 chart.

Evanescence recorded “The Open Door” while dealing with its guitarist having a stroke, a legal battle with its former manager, and singer Amy Lee’s public break-up with Seether’s Shaun Morgan. Then just as the project was completed, bassist Will Boyd decided it was time for him to exit.
