Former Evanescence drummer Rocky Gray is auctioning off gold and platinum plaques he received as a member of the group just two weeks after singer Amy Lee reportedly sacked him.
Gray plans to part with the valuable accolades by selling them on auction website eBay.
In a statement, he says, “I’m just kinda cleanin’ house a little bit.”
Gray and guitarist John LeCompt parted company with the rock group earlier this month.

People shouldn’t judge him, you don’t know what situation he’s in that led him to sell his plaques. Plus their his, he worked hard for them and he can do whatever he likes with them.

Up to him to clear it out. Not that I’m taking sides, but in one sense, he may feel that anything that reminds of Evanescence gives him bad memories. Then again, I hope the items go to someone who would appreciate them more.
