As their Australian tour comes to a close, Goth-rockers Evanescence have been confirmed to play in the line-up for the ‘My Coke Fest’ in South Africa.
Guns N’ Roses and Hoobastank join Evanescence as headlining acts. The festival plays in Johannesburg on April 27.
Recently engaged lead singer Amy Lee is working hard to keep her voice in top form. “They are pretty powerful (vocals) so I have to be good to my voice and do lots of warm-ups. I am definitely… pushing myself because we play a longer set now,” Lee says of the tour.
The final two shows of the Evanescence Australian Tour are in Perth tomorrow night and Sydney on Saturday and there are still a handful of tickets available!

Cool,so Evanescence wasn’t at the grammys??! so i watched it for nothing.Just to let you know i HATED the grammys this year,only thing i like is the performance by Dixie chicks and that’s it.

Lol. When I went to see Ev in 2004 at Wembley, Hoobastank were meant to be supporting them but they didn’t make an appearance. I hate Guns n’ Roses…because of Axl Rose! He’s suck a d*ck!
